We offer classes & camps through the Youth Program (Horizons) at Southeast Missouri State University and the Cape Parks & Rec Department. All camps and classes are held at Lazy L Safari Park.

SUMMER CAMPS & CLASSES - Offered thru the Cape Parks & Rec Department
The following camps and classes are being offered at Lazy L Safari Park thru the Cape Parks & Rec Department.

STORYBOOK SAFARI
Ages: 3 & under (with one parent or grandparent)
Fee: $25.00 Resident or Non-Resident
Date: Tuesdays, June 4th & 11th

Description: In this class, children will enjoy listening to stories about zoo animals and then actually meet them at the zoo!
MOVIN' & GROOVIN' SAFARI
Ages: 4-5 years
Fee: $25.00 Resident or Non-Resident
Date: Thursdays, June 6th & 13th
Time: 9:30 am - 10:30 am
Minimum: 5 Maximum: 15
Description: Let's get movin' & groovin' at the zoo! Kids will learn how to walk, hop, climb, crawl, swing, slither, and move like their favorite zoo animals.
ZOO QUEST
Ages: 6-8 years
Fee: $30.00 Resident or Non-Resident
Date: Tuesdays, June 4th & 11th
Time: 11:00 am - 12:00 noon
Minimum: 5 Maximum: 15
Description: Go on a quest around the zoo to find out fun facts about our zoo animals. Come discover the answer to that question and many more as you explore the zoo!
ZOO CLUES
Age: 9-12 years

Description: Is it the _____, _____, or _____? Help us fill in the blanks as we investigate the clues and solve the mystery at the zoo. It's a real "who done it" - is it the _____ or the _____? Sssssshh - we don't want to give it away!
ZOO CAMP

Description: Are you smarter than a Zookeeper? You'll find out during Zoo Camp with games, crafts, music, and more! You'll interact with the animals as we explore the zoo through adventurous activities. All Zoo Camp participants can help with our Zoofest Special Event to be held Saturday, June 22nd.

Parents should arrange for children to be dropped off and picked up at Lazy L Safari Park each day. For children with allergies, please note that children will interact with animals each day.

SUMMER CAMPS - Offered thru the Horizons Program at SEMO University
The following camps are being offered at Lazy L Safari Park thru the Horizons Program at SEMO University.

JUNIOR ZOOKEEPER (ages 9-14 yrs)
Take a Walk on the Wild Side and explore a career as a zookeeper! Our Junior Zookeeper Program is designed to introduce you to basic zookeeping including how to feed, clean, and care for animals. Enroll in our hands-on educational, fun-filled course where you will learn about animals from Antelope to Zebras! You will also learn about animal behavior, habitats, veterinary care, conservation and more -- everything you need to know to become a zookeeper. On the last day of class, parents and families are invited to attend the Junior Zookeeper Certification ceremony for the new Junior Zookeepers. Graduates of the Junior Zookeeper Program at Lazy L Safari Park are eligible to become Junior Volunteers during the Fall of 2013.

SAFARI ADVENTURES (ages 5-8 yrs)
